A meeting was held for the EV 2014 participants and worker bees before our August monthly meeting August13:  about a dozen folks attended and discussed some of the outcomes, suggestions for improvement and to hear the feedback for all sorts of sources...   the general consensus was that it was a wonderful show and very well received by those who saw it --- unfortunately attendance was very low this year...  A possible option for amending that problem was also presented and discussed --- it…

There is a Ride-a-thon this weekend in support of the Theraputic Riding Association on the island... they do really wonderful work.   I think there will be a million opportunities at this event for wonderful people and horse pictures...   Come on out and play....

OPENING REMARKS: Curt Firestone (el Presidente) is back from South and again has things hopping… thanks Curt we need a wrangler…  Though things did move along in his absence so he can feel free to take a break… 

NEW MEMBERS:  Pat Page - reported that we have between 85-90 renewals in membership for this new year…  which is like 85% of last…

Another opportunity to strut you stuff.... This is a very well attended and managed sale/show which attracts many many visitors and locals alike... and includes many of the top artists and crafts people on the island... Join the fun....  

ArtCraft opens on June14th and runs until September15th.

The deadline for

new applicants is May6th, and returning participants May10th.
