Eclectic Visions update:

Sales total $2,118.00, visitors were 775, Last year visitors - 674. Expenses - TBA

Recap:

This year's opening went well. The weather was not great but seemed to keep the visitors staying longer.  The food lasted, not too much waste, except for the crackers. There was 5 bottles of wine left over, 4 were the sparkling rose wine, last year we had three bottles left over, one of each red, white and rose. Again it was nice to have Wilf Davies play piano for the opening night.

We had more visitors and more sales in dollar value but in previous years we had more card sales, this year only 15 + 4 calendars and one puzzle sold, compared to 63 total in 2024. That figure also includes calendars and books.

We spent a total of $TBA on publicity, $TBA on printing, $ 285 - other $TBA

People's Choice winner this year is Colton's 'Breach' with 53 votes, 2nd - Larry's "Feather on the Ocean' 35, 3rd - Bernadette's 'Train Ride' with 31.

More visitors were due to Robert Bateman's show at the same time as ours, plus I think that Curt did a great job at the market handing out flyers to visitors, some people said that they followed the signs and posters.

One comment: more information on labels, ie) where taken. And what Giclee means. One sitter was asked when they did not know themselves....

NEXT year we need to find someone to coordinate the exhibition as Judy will not be available.     This position suits someone that is good at organizing and delegating - it's not too difficult, just time consuming on some stuff. Judy will hand over a timeline when things need to get done and all of the notes on what to do days before the show.

WE ALSO NEED to find a president for the club! My last month is January 2026.
