Eclectic Visions:
PLEASE Read binder for how to record sales and collect money.
Count the money in the cash box when you arrive and record it on the daily sheet, and count again at the end of your shift and record it.
Please greet people as they walk in the gallery. Do a head count on the people entering the gallery, record on the daily sheet in binder. Mention the people's choice award, there are ballots and a box to put the entries in on the desk. This is for the favourite IMAGE. There will be image numbers on the wall labels.
SALES: Gallery8 will take charge cards for us - they will charge the customer tax. Gallery 8 doesn't take any commission so all sales are for the artist. We don't charge tax for cash sales.
Details for sales are in the white binder at the gallery. Please read through carefully when beginning your shift.
When a wall piece is sold, please let the artist know. contact info is in the binder.
This year all the photos have a number (in the green dots by the photos) 1 - 45. Visitors just have to write the number of their favourite image for the People's Choice Award. The prize will be a $50 gift certificate from the Hen and Hound. They own the Feast restaurant in town (at the House Piccolo site), the Taste (once the Fernwood cafe) and a farm stand on Walker's Hook Road.
Still looking for someone to sit the show on Wednesday May 28th, 10am - 1pm. Contact Seth or Judy if you can do it. And thanks!
