Julianna Slomka is showing at Country Grocer this month and Anna McColm is showing West Coast Images at Harvest Moon Cannabis Store by Country Grocer.

Message from Gabrielle Jensen

She is offering 25% discount on photo framing and 10% discount on matting and other framing needs for the month of April.     Just before our show in May.

North Shore Challenge

2025 Gala is March 7th - online event. This is a competition. We can enter as a club or as an individual. Club entry is for a maximum of 6 images from 6 different photographers for a cost of $25/ club or if individual $20 for 3 images. if anyone is interested go to https://nsps.ca/north-shore-challenge-2025/ for more information.

If some are interested in entering as a club we will need someone to organize it.

 Photographers needed to Show at Country Grocer cafe

for March, May, and November next year. (Possibly Johanne for November.) Please let Judy or Anna know if interested. Anna's email is annagarika@hotmail.com

Canadian Landscapes update

Claudia has all provinces and territories except for Manitoba. If anyone has a photo from there, please send to Claudia and Pierre by the 17th. There was a discussion with the group regarding printing and framing.   Howard has 20 frames, 20 x 14 that he is willing to lend out for the show, Avril and Judy has some frames 20 x 16 that can be used too. We can print the images to fit inside the frames without matting, some can be with no glass.                John de Bruyn has offered to print, so between the frames and printing we can keep the costs down. There will be a large map of Canada on an easel with links to the images on a legend. Opening will be on Saturday, March 1st.

ARTSPRING LOBBY SHOW

Hanging is on Tuesday, January 7th, at 10am. Please let Wendy know if you will be showing, ASAP.   She will need information on what you will be showing by end Dec. so she can make up the wall labels. This is open show, images can be shown before, 2 - 3 images per person. Wendy - wrosier@gmail.com

December 11th Meeting

At the library 7 - 9pm John de Bruyn will be showing work with Stephen Morris and will discuss their photos. It's also our social holiday meeting.  We will invite the Photosynthesis group to join us.

** Please bring some treats and drinks (no alcohol) to share for this festive event.     I will bring some sparkling apple juice and soda water.

December theme

Slideshow is Open and Eclectic. One image per person. A reminder will be sent by Avril closer to our meeting on December 11th.
