Canadian Landscape: Claudia did a fantastic presentation on the Canadian Landscape exhibit on now at the Library. Thank you Claudia for creating a wonderful exhibition with the club. End of March, 29th, Claudia will remove photos. If you supplied your own framed image you can meet Claudia there at 12:30, otherwise she will take them home.

Dave Hutchison: top 10 tips for Wildlife Photography.

Dave is an award-winning photographer celebrated for his stunning wildlife and nature photography. His work showcases the beauty and diversity of the region's flora and fauna. Dave was also a member of our club for a year. He moved to Victoria. The next one will be in November

Royal British Museum: Reminder to go see Wildlife of the Year on now until April 27th.

 

Eclectic Visions update:

The information package was sent out last week. Hopefully you have received it and will decide to show in this year's 16th exhibition, at Gallery8. Please let Wendy and Judy know if you plan to be in the show by March 27. We will open spots on March 29th for anyone that would like to purchase another spot.

 

Reminder that Gabrielle Jensen of Gulf Island Picture Framing is offering club members 25% off of framing and 10% off of other framing needs from March 17th to the end of April. Above Gallery8 in Grace Point Square

 

Crown Framing offers 10% off for club members. So far 7 people have committed. It would be great to get at least 24.

 

April 9th meeting at Library

Seth Berkowitz will be doing a talk on pinhole photography.

Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day is Sunday April 27th this year. It's the last Sunday in April, annually. Seth's plan is to talk about how some digital cameras can do pinhole photography, as opposed to the traditional film or paper methods. https://pinholeday.org/

before and after, then and now. A photo of the same place years ago or few months ago and now. Can be Salt Spring or anywhere

 

Margaret Benmore is inviting all members to a Mad Hatter spring tea party on April 1st, 2-4pm bring cameras and hat.
