Evening Educational session… Wendy Rosier gave a demonstration of some of the attributes of Lightroom… that girl can do magic with the technology --- turning a beautiful shot of a Rhodo that anyone would be proud of into a JUMPING Rhodo… that just popped off the screen…

Wendy recommended lightroomqueen.com  as a good source of information about Lightroom… she will also be emailing some other references … Thanks Wendy –

Each time we do another of these techno sessions, I get both inspired and overwhelmed… it is like magic and I really want to play with it… Thanks to all of you that have demonstrated the wonders of this brave new world for us…

Evening Slide Show:  the challenge for the evening was to show us the images that didn’t make the cut for EV or shots you really just love and haven’t shown it to anyone… and BOY!!!!!! did we see some wonderful images…

From Romantic windows with sun and lace, to bookshelves stuffed with a cornucopia of artifacts of a life of interest… ghostly profiles in the forest, to Columbian stove…

All of the images were of a very high quality, in composition, light,  - timmi’s ethereal white rose and Tom Gilligan’s abstract were polar opposites, yet both beautiful and outstanding… We had Brinkworthy teapots and the plaza of the Grand Mosque in Casablanca…

Do yourself a favour go to the website and look at them all again --- slowly… really look at them --- they are beautiful… Well done all

By the way if you do not want your image shown on the website – just let Doug know and he will gladly take it out for you…

Margaret, Two corrections that refer to me.

1. The Country Grocer show in July is solo.  Yes, Images of Africa by Curt only.

2. I was caught last Wednesday in a scheduling error in Seattle en route back to SSI.

How was your Alaska Cruise?

Curt
