Anyone up for a field trip to the BC Museum in Victoria and the "Wildlife Photographer of the Year" exhibition that's running until April 6?   We can add lunch and a side bar of some photography of our own, maybe walking the Galloping Goose trail or ...?

Curt is away in Italy so Bob Rogers ably chaired the meeting.

According to the vote taken on-site re change of meeting days, Bob says, with an extremely marginal difference, our meetings days stay at status quo, every second Wednesday. 31 members voted.

A lovely nurse at Greenwoods has a 12 year old son who does not do well in school but loves photography. She is willing to pay for some lessons in the basics to support him in his interest. Is anyone interested?

Not exactly a photography subject but I'm planning on upgrading and taking RAW images, so imagine I will need more ram on my computer. Anyone know whether it's easy to install yourself, or know of someone good that can do it for me? How much more space does RAW take, anyway, than JPEG? Also, any suggestions on a good camera that I can grow into? Thinking about the Nikon D300. And what would be good lenses to start off with if I do go with that one?

Hello fellow photographers.
