Our hanging schedule for the Deli in GVM in 2105 is as follows:

January, March, May, July, September. November.

Last year we kept it to one person exhibits but before that we always asked for multiple photographers to participate and in that way more of our members would get a Chance to participate. We have spots for about 6 or 8 images and I would ask that interested persons contact me to arrange their showing. The way I would have to arrange it would be to select the first…

Photography Club Minutes

December10, 2014

My apologies for the delay in the minutes --- but just back, got the plane plague and had to do a Vancouver run… so here they are… with love… MCB

1.  Opening:   Wendy Rosier did a fabulous job of opening the meeting at Harbour House…  a new president, a new location and new hi-tech toys… what more could a club want… Boy lots has changed since I left you…

Just a reminder the at 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 30,  we will be taking down Margaret Benmore's exhibition at the Deli at GVM.

Curt welcomed our two newest members - Jean Panepinto and Mark Lauckner - and two guests, Brenda and Rebecca who were 'sampling the Club'.

1st item on the agenda: whether to raise the annual dues from $15 to $20. Bob Davidson proposed raising it to $25, to give the club a financial cushion, but after some discussion the club voted to settle on an increase to $20.

Pat (treasurer) reported that the club has $2,780 before dues…

The challenge for the slide show at the December meeting.

Take a photo that tells a story and put some narrative to the photo.  It need only be a few lines and it can be poetry.

Being the holiday season month.... a Christmas photo/story  or something that says "peace" would be appropriate but not necessary.

Art Spring is having a juried art show with cash prizes.   George Sipros is managing the show.  Top prize is $1000.  another prize is $800.
