Can I get some feedback about a couple of cameras. I'd like to buy one and these were suggested by a friend.  Perhaps neither is a good choice?

My best advice is to Simon Henson and chat with him.  He is great and very helpful.

Evelyn, Canons and Nikons have different feels. Best to handle each before buying. And then of course there are the different sets of lenses. I chose my own dslr, a Pentax, because it had by far the best viewfinder at the price level, workable while wearing my graduated trifocals. And my film camera fit the same lenses.
