An opportunity to take part in one of Salt Spring's best-loved photo shoots has been offered to us all this year. Gail Sjuberg, of Driftwood fame, has asked if anyone would like to participate in "A Day in the Life of Salt Spring" which, this year, has been thrown open to us commoners.

DON"T FORGET!! - The annual Round SaltSPring Island Yacht race starts at 10:00 AM tomorrow and can be viewed from many places. It starts in front of the Yacht CLub at 10:00 AM but there is great viewing (and shooting) at Fernwood dock about 4 hours later (depending on thwe wind).

Just wanted to let everyone know that Chris Dixon, cabinet maker extraordinaire, has opened a framing shop - Blue Door Custom Framing. I'm sure his rates are very competitive, and I know from experience that he's a perfectionist when it comes to finishing. He's also a keen photographer :)

I have received a request from the owners of Embe Bakery for photos to hang in their sub shop. They don't have a HD tv but have a bit of wall space for framed photos if anyone is interested. I said that I would put the word out to the photo club to see if anyone is interested.
