Spring Slideshow for TV screens on island: Judy McPhee

            Deadline for submission of photos is this coming weekend. Images of Spring on                  

            SSI, landscape views only;  high resolution; 9 by 16 size.

 

Eclectic Visions: Jana

            28 entrants thus far. Entry fees due now. Maggie Argiro doing publicity again.

 

Educational presentation: Larry Citra. Stretching Gallery Wrap

            Great demonstration, with details of content to come in a separate document. Using one of Avril’s images which Larry had enlarged and printed on a sturdy self sealing canvas called Breathing Color, he demonstrated the entire process of stretching the image onto a frame sourced from a Canadian company, “Stick n Stretch”.  Needless to say there is a learning curve to doing this well. A beautiful finished piece. Thank you Larry!!

Slide Show: Doug McMillan

This month’s theme was Flowers and featured many beautiful images, including lots from the club’s recent field trip to Butchart Garden, led by Jana. Despite a much delayed spring this year, the flowers were both prolific and gorgeous
