If you have not dropped into the Roasting Company in awhile, I highly recommend it.

Doug McMillin puts together an excellent show on their monitor of the Club's work.  Another of our club's efforts in sharing photography with the community.  The show is interspaced with well designed slides promoting SS Coffee and the people who grow it.

A meeting was held for the EV 2014 participants and worker bees before our August monthly meeting August13:  about a dozen folks attended and discussed some of the outcomes, suggestions for improvement and to hear the feedback for all sorts of sources...   the general consensus was that it was a wonderful show and very well received by those who saw it --- unfortunately attendance was very low this year...  A possible option for amending that problem was also presented and discussed --- it…

August 13, 2014

1.  Opening:   Curt Firestone, El Prez… welcomed new member Chris Picard and invited him to come out an play with us…

2.  Announcement:  Curt then shared with those present his resignation from the position of President of the SaltSpring Photography Club after four great years… Curt stressed that he was really proud of the Club…

Our next artist to hang their images in The Deli at GVM is Judy McPhee. We will be there at 7:00 PM on Sunday, August 31 ,2014. 

Hopefully I will be able to get a volunteer to assist - volunteers are always welcome!
