Condolences on the Passing of Greg Klassen

Many condolences on the passing of one of our distinguished members who spread his love and knowledge of Photography throughout the community.  He will be missed by many - Seldom have I seen such dedication and immersion in our favorite pastime  - his creativity was amazing and his willingness to share and involve his peers in his projects was heart warming and a pleasure to be part of.

You've said it all. Such a talented and generous man who offered us so much in the relatively short time that we knew him. I really enjoyed the Sunday afternoon program he offered  at the library and learned so much from his perspective on photography and exposure to photographers I hadn't heard of before. My creative mind and heart was enriched by my connection to him. May he rest in peace.

well said all... Greg was a special character who touched us all with his creativity, his passion and his love of photography/Art... and his sensitivity to our community... His banner is a Wonder in that he has captured the real Spirit of SaltSpring so beautifully... Showing a community of love, caring, smiling folks... A community which he embraced and embraced him... His work is inspirational... he will be missed... but not forgotten...  I feel grateful for the time and talks we had together...  hugs to all...

One of those larger than life people who has touched us all. I still can't quite believe he's gone. His courage to see his visions and projects through to fruition could inspire us all.
