Just a reminder for a Great Photo Op this weekend. It is the annual "Work Boat Festival" with over 60 boats of that class. On Saturday many of them will be tied up to the local docks and have "Open House" from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and they are very colorful, interesting and photographable. At the same time most of the boats in the harbor will be "at their best" and there is a festive air - last year a local crab boat was having a great time selling crab..On Sunday, as their finale - they form a great flotilla parade in a circular form from about the Coast Guard Dock to beyond the Yacht club and make about three circular rotations and then head home - it is quite a display - and the few boats that have steam whistles enjoy adding to the process.
