And have you noticed how often they precede you down the road when you're driving? Strange.

Love this shot. He looks as though he's made of velvet and sitting on a swing. Love the title.

I don't think that the Flicker leaves but I do think that they molt in the winter some time and appear in the Spring with a beautiful new coat.

Oh what a lovely picture Cliff... they always remind me of Missippissi riverboat gambles with their spotted vest -- They are a wonderful bird - I didn't realize that they left and came back in the spring.. I love your bird information... thanks... MCB
