I've been working on a photo collage of my beloved friend, Maggie Schubart, for a while, and was inspired today to create this one. This was taken on Hiroshima Day, 2003, at the Peace Park. Love to all on International Women's Day :)

I like the emphasis on her hands and her peace sign necklace. That seems to represent her well-a connection with others and a caring, hopeful outlook. The overlay you've chosen for this photo has a sense of the spirit world. (I don't see the walking cane Doug refers to.)

I'm sure Maggie would have loved this, Joanne.  I never met her myself but I know people who knew her and the feeling of transparency, light and peace seems very appropriate. Love the wrinkled skin with the texture of the basket and the clothing.
