Eclectic Visions Update - An info package on the show at Gallery 8 will soon be emailed out.  This will have all the information you will need to know about our annual show.  This will be the 14th Eclectic Visions Exhibit.   May 17 - 30th with bringing in work on the 15th,  the 16th is hanging day.  opening night May 17th, 5-7pm  hours for show is Monday to Saturday 10-5  Sundays 11-4.  There will be a slight price increase to $75 per member per spot.

Thank you to Maggie who will be helping out with publicity this year and Fifi for organizing the food for opening.   Let me know if you are interested in the helping with the EV - we need someone to distribute posters and handouts around the island, putting out the sandwich boards, will need some help with the opening - setting up tables etc.  I will set up a signup genius online where you can sign up for sitting, or any other activities.

Upper Ganges liquor store was contacted to donate wine for the opening as well as Country Grocer and Thriftys for gift cards.  Last year they both donated $200 each.

Every year we have a people's choice award of $50 gift certificate.

One suggestion is to ask 'Off The Hook' Restaurant for a gift certificate.

Ben Corno sent an email regarding the 'Salt Spring Island Volunteer Fair' on April 13 at SIMS.  Their hope is to bring organizations that want to meet new volunteers together with folks on SS who want to help out.  May also serve as a way to meet or interface with potential new members for our organization. Anyone wanting to help out sitting at the table and promoting the club are welcome.  Please contact me, jhmcphee@shaw.ca hours are 10-3pm on April 13, Saturday.
