Hello all,
We are now on Zanzibar which is the physical size as Salt Spring. It is relax time after 25 days of safari in both Kenya and Tanzania. I took about 2100 photos after deletion in the camera. The D7000 was perfect and while I used the 70-300 lens most of the time on the game drives, the 16-85 was critical. Action photos were the name of the game with the camera set for good depth of field, high enough ISO for fast shutter. Adjustments were made all the time. It was fun.
I have posted two photos with three more under each. I know that we are only to post one per day, but I hope you will cut me some slack. We have had limited access to wi-fi internet and some days with wi-fi, yet no time.
Gwen and I are thinking of a joint exhibition at the end of the summer giving us to time to work with all our photos and to chose our favorites Gwen has clicked her shutter 3500 times. She is also documenting all the places where we have stayed in addition to the animals and people.
I'll see some of you at coffee on Monday 3 Dec and the rest at our next regular meeting.
Hugs,
Curt
