Your Photo-art in the new Library

Our library has put out the call for artists and that includes photographers to have their work purchased by and hung in the new library.  This is a competitive opportunity for Salt Springers.  Submissions must be made by September 14 and the final art piece must be ready by Oct. 29.

I plan to let the Chief Librarian know that the Photo Club would be interested in showing our work in the new library as part of our on-going sharing of photo-art with the community.

I checked in the library today and the application forms aren't actually ready yet. I imagine they will be finished soon.

Reading the pdf specs from the library was pretty daunting - very big spaces.  I wonder why the library wants permanent art?

Good idea for the "sharing." I suppose "photo-art" is what we must call it?  (Very uncomfortable with modern usage, moi).
