Read this if you have any Ferry riders photos in your stock that you would like to give to islands Trust. They need the photos by the end of next week.
As part of Islands Trust submission to the province about BC Ferries, we would like to share images of what ordinary ferry travellers look like. We are certainly not cruise ship passengers, despite what the images on the public consultation documents seem to convey...
We are looking for photos of people, perhaps a group of foot passengers with all manner of canes, buggies and bags to haul their gear. Or a pickup truck getting farm supplies.
While crowd shots from a distance would not be an issue, if you do have any close-up shots where people are easily recognizable we would need permission to use their image. Email Laura for a release form which authorizes the Islands Trust to use people's images.
Images can be sent to Laura Stringer via e-mail: email@example.com
Also any comments or question should be sent to Laura. I have sent her an email saying that getting a release may have to fall to them as the photgrapher may not know how to contact the person.
