Feeding the spectacled owl
Another special event at the Raptor center. It was being fed by hand before exhibiting its flying skills.

Nice to see the feather markings up close. Cutting the wings off gives more weight to the body. Neat.

Wish I could tell you something really gross but I honestly don't know. I am sure it is pre-prepared food from something the owl might find in the wild at least something similar.
