I have seen many of these slot canyon shots Lois but must say this is an exceptionally successful one. I love the layered look. Plays tricks with your eyes when you stare at it. Well done !!! 

Going to these canyons is on my 'bucket list'

Could have swarn it was Oak Creek Canyon AZ.  Truely spectacular what Mom Nature accomplishes over time.  Awesome shot Lois.

Hi Kahsia,

Just returned from a month-long trip to Utah and Arizona where this shot was taken.  I didn't have a photographer as a guide, but was fortunate to tag onto a tour with a very limited number of people (maybe 8?) so had lots of time to set up my shots.

Looks like you’ve been travelling around. The color and light are amazing. Did you have a photographer as a guide?
