Thank you for the welcome home:) - it's nice to be back and getting settled in a bit.  I've been working with some of the photos I took before I left and wanted to bring a bit more of a sense of movement into this one by adding one layer.  It was quite a windy day and the grass and flowers were blowing about anyhow, but the photo still looked a bit too static and moment-in-time ish...

Oh it's lovely seeing your gorgeous images again, Joanne.  This is beautiful, soft and subtle, like a silk painting. No highlights and that streakiness gives it a unified feel, as though bird and flowers were one.
