Yes, still in Hawaii. They're not hothouse goodies but it's so very very hot here the entire environment is like one big hot house ( except early a.m. and late p.m. when it thankfully cools down). These are growing in Auntie Betty's garden. There are some where I live too, but not the variegated kind.

They're ribbed, hmmm... Are you still in Hawaii? These look like hothouse goodies to me otherwise. Almost plastic looking.
