Doug, there's a female animal walking alongside too, although tomatoes were always present in my mother's garden.  This past summer she planted her last garden, because she doesn't have the energy for it anymore...

I've taken some formal portraits of her at her request over the years, but this one is my favourite, because it's much more about the mother I am in awe of than any of those.
