Yes, it makes it more like a 60's shot--a bit magazine photo-ish.

After I changed it to B&W, I then made it slightly more grainy.  Seemed to work for me.  The shoes are full of color and seemed to distract from her face.

 Something in the shape of the mouth says she's speaking a foreign language.  Love the shoes and the legs leaning in to her. Good one.
