Taken a few weeks later - maybe the same two cygnets - the one seems to be a ham!

Most of my swan shots were taken with my Nikon D50 with the Kit Lens 55-200 mm and sometimes a circular polarizing filter. I do not use RAW, only because I have become comfortable with jpeg, and after doing some reading and discussion with photographer friends I think that is, at present, what I will continue to do. I strongly recommend that everyone use the RAW system , its just that I am in the category of "you can't teach and old dog new tricks". That does not mean that I will never use RAW but I don't at present.

Nice family shot. It seems some little ones always want to be in the pictures.

The colours give this a soft family feeling. What lens do you use for this wonderful work Cliff?

Great shot.It has a very relaxed feel, with all that preening and stretching of wings. What goes on when no-one knows there's a photographer nearby.

One exuberant and the other actually looks sad - I've never seen a photo of a sad looking bird before ~
