Many more survivors this year and showing growth and, hopefully, good health just before their hibernation for the winter. That starts about the time that the temperature settles to 4 C or lower

I could not lessen the reflective light of the sun in the duckweed. The lowering afternoon sun just happened to brightlly gleam on these plants and give an image that did not seem to be present to the naked eye. Lightroom made a small modification so what remains is what there is.

Swirls of colour following each other, very nice. I particularly like the veined leaf sticking out of the water--it seems to pull that bronze colour out from underneath.
