Heard about this place from a neighbour who worked on it. Pretty amazing, and a nice shot, Cliff. Tantalizing.

Mt Tuam contains this gated community -we were prospective buyers at one time - and there were many building sites there -sites there with very restrictive building requirements. We were not given any information about it being a reserve. I took the "castle Shots" from neighbors home who is a friend of my wife's son - where I took my recent "top of Mt. Yuam.Images.The property where the "Castle" is was not accessible but "sneaking through the bush" was a way to get images.

Wow -- I had plans for a castle (Ludvic of Bavaria style) on Channel Ridge overlooking St. Mary's - now it really is happening on SSI.  The image Cliff has me thinking of you sneaking about in the bush trying to get a peak.... it just has that wonderfully secretive quality... nice job...   cheers.. Interesting idea. Hope you get some of the big castle when it is built.

I used the word "forerunner" to describe that it is the first if a couple of buildings that are designed to resemble castles. This one is complete with turrets, gargoyles and parapets although the whole thing is really a small cottage in size. The larger CAstle is in the future. Ernie - the people that live in this area are quite prosperous and may even have a helicpoter. They certainly have snow plows up there and have ample storage facilities for all necessities. I also suspect that they are not always there when there is snow on the ground.
