Gallery Invitation

I was approached at our show enquiring if the Salt Spring Photography Club or any of its members would be interested in showing at Coast Collective Art Centre. The gallery is located in the Esquimalt Lagoon area of Victoria.

There were four options presented.

1. Juried Show in February. $10 hanging fee. Maximum 4 images. 30% sales comm.
2. Beginners Show in January. No details provided.
3. Theme shows. No details.
4. A SS Photo Club show. $200 per week and 30% comm. or $375 and no comm.

There space will easy hold 100-130 images.
They are open Thur through Sun. Noon to 5 PM. They claim an average of 40 visitors a day.

I am brand new to selling of art work. So I do not know if this is worth considering. If the club wants to look into a group show, I will be happy to gather information and help facilitate.

I have put my name on their mailing list and just received an announcment for a show based on animal images and paintings. I will post it here.
