Thank you Doug & Avril.  I went to Kinsol looking for this perspective.  And at home discovered that sepia gave it the quality I wanted.  Blue sky did not work for me with the brown wood.

I like the light on one side and little bits seeping through to the other. It was harder than it looks to get a good photo looking up but you've done it.
