I didn't know we had squirrels on Salt Spring. I've never seen one. Must be all hanging around your place, Cliff.

Yes, great, Cliff, and strange that they're so vertical when they jump, when you'd expect them, or I would, to be more horizontal.

Thank you Joann. I am fortunate enough to live in the right place and have my camera close at hand to get some really fine images.

This, truly, was a lucky shot. We feed the squirrels and we, therefore, live in their habitat. When I notice a  behaviour I would like to photograph I just have to be there around the time it has been occurring and have my camera ready it all came together the other day and I was lucky.
