Thank you Doug, I agree with your critique and appreciate the improvements you have shown. I had asked Doug to critique this shot and, after all, one of the finest elements of this club is the ability to learn from our peers and experiences ways to enhance out photgraphic experience and share the knowledge and expertise contained in the membership. Doug is a photographer of many talents and I respect his advice and input. Club membership is also a continiuing learning trail, no matter how experienced you are.

Sure Doug. I know the content has a lot of possibilities and as soon as I get familiar with the Photo Shop program I bought I'll get better at it - but I showed this to get input and other ideas. Please show me what your suggestions are then I'll figure out how to do it myself. I think that red Vase and red rose combination can be used in several more creative ways.

Spectacular colour match!   Referring to Doug's comments, you could split this into two separate photos.    I think the bottom half would make a fabulous photo on it's own, the upper one not quite so but you could trim off a little of the left side to improve.
