Unfortunately, robotically phallic and entirely lacking in Salt Spring patina, this tangle of stuff is hanging, squeaky clean, off a new pole in front of - you guessed it - our new Library.

For me, the crop below is most of the story; I just couldn't resist including the dazzling sunny day when I took the shot.

Is that his baton sticking out in front?  I think he looks more like a drummer. Very neat take.
