That's right Simon. At first I was disappointed to see that my camera's shutter speed limit (1/4000s) wasn't quite enough to really freeze the wings, but in this instance at least I think the slight blur adds to the photo.

I guess you needed to crank up the shutter speed to freeze their wing beats.

Wonderful colours together and I like the no-bokeh background in this. Even the feet are concentrating on the task at hand.
