I like the ears, since they buck the grain, so to speak, but I agree about the dark blotch.

And, just to be different, I would like a softer bachground, just so the horse is a bit more prominent. Maybe you could do that, Curt and we could see the difference and comment some more!

I like it with that melted pistachio ice-cream look and I enjoy the colours and the suggestion of horse--I wouldn't soften the background if it were mine.
