Hanging by a thread
This poor male garden spider is actually swinging away from his would-be conquest Tarzan-style. We saw him make several approaches to try to woo the spiderette (spiderine!) of his dreams. It didn't end well: She ended up biting off one of his front legs when he got a little fresh.

Cirque de Soleil of the arachnid persuasion. Love the tension created in this image and how you have suspended action and isolated your subject against the background. What will happen next?
