If you crop, go with Doug's.  Yet I think I like it best w/o either crop.  The water on the ground adds balance.

Question:  How did you get the splash of water to create a drop of water on the girls' lower lip?  

You are getting wonderful results from  your "new" Nikon.

Trudy, this is a terrific shot!   and so is the second one with its tears of rain.

I like Doug's crop as it still has the total splash.  You are really having a great time with your camera.

I think I like #1 as you have it Trudy--gives more weight to the puddle and the splash. I know you orchestrated this, so good idea as well as wonderful photo.
