this is really good, Trudy.  It is also nice to see some thing more thoughtful and less arrogant in the expression of an eagle.

Such a special time of year for seeing eagles. Nice shot..he/she looks enormous perched up there.

And he is looking right at you!  Cool!  You have the patience of Job to get all those eagle shots - especially in this weather!!!  Kudos to you girl!

I have heard a nesting pair in my area and caught glimpses of them from way afar (aka Wendy's far away) but yesterday I was out in the yard with Jesse and heard him close so I ran and grabbed the camera and managed to get a quick one of him just as he was about to launch himself off...This is what I got....Not anywhere near your league Trudy but I'm just pleased as punch to finally have a capture.
