You are actually looking over the edge of the falls

The ragged edges give it a feeling of being unfinished and going on beyond the picture. I see water land and sky in the layers but going from sparkle and living colour at the bottom to the matte look at the top gives it an interesting journey from photograph to painting, too, seemingly.

I took this photo at Niagara Falls two weeks ago on my Nokia.  Yes, I used some creativity in PSP to create photo-art.
