Elehna--I like your composition in this, the oval of hazy light so evenly spaced from three edges and the diagonal of tree on the fourth, ending where the geese are heading. Also the grey instead of a real white gives it a softness in keeping with the mood.

And for me the grey tones of the woods works well and it wouldn't work at all, I don't imagine, in the whisks.

I also like the composition for leading the eye to the top right and thus out of the picture.

Symbolically, I see the geese flying across the moon, very poetic.

Thanks, Simon. I tried to get a nice circular shape, indeed thinking of the moon, but my rudimentary iPhoto software could only come up with an oval. Maybe that's better in the end.

Was it your intention to have the composition low down approaching the bottom frame?
