Simon and I discussed the idea of night walk through Ganges, with cameras, of course, and preferably while the Christmas lights are still up. It would fit in well with next month's theme, "A shot in the dark".  Someone at the meeting expressed a preference for an after-Christmas outing, and I imagine that would be easier for most of us to fit in.

Is anyone out there interested? These days it could be as early as 5 p.m. though for those who work, later might be better. We could also go out for an after-jaunt tipple, or something warm...or a warm tipple.

Anyone have any preferences as to day? Wednesday doesn't work for me. (Just getting my bid in early)

tipple!!!! I am more or less free most of the time.

I good idea, but it depends on which day. A tipple? Don't tell my mom! :-)

I'll go whenever if I can.  If not, then I'll go another time. but I would prefer to have company!

Avril,

Pick a day and those who can be there will be with you.

Great idea.

OK, I've picked a day. How about Thursday, Dec. 29th?  Weather permitting, of course, and time to be discussed.

I'll try & be there.

Ditto

HI Avril,

I like the idea but it's probably not going to work for the little pooch. Don't like leaving him alone in the car when it's cold and dark and I haven't yet left him alone at home. But . . . maybe that will be the day

( or night) that I give it a try.

I'm hoping that by Thursday the 29th  the predicted rain will have stopped.  We will meet, unless anyone has any further ideas or comments, by Old Salty at 7:00 p.m.

I should just be back on the island.  I'll try and make it.

I'll be there!

Hi Avril,

It sounds like a good little challenge and some fun. I will come. Just let me know if it is still on.

                                                                  Cheers, Alane
