Eclectic Visions

Eclectic Visions is the Salt Spring Photography Club's exciting major annual exhibition.  In the past we have held the show at Artspring but this year we are trying a new venue, thanks to Curt Firestone. We will be using the large upstairs room at Gallery 8, in Gracepoint Square.  This is a busy, thriving art gallery, with a successful owner who knows the art scene on Salt Spring Island. No commission fees will be charged.

Show dates are June 11 to June 24.  You will be expected to sit the show, probably at least twice, and to help out where you can. It's fun!

Fees are $70, payable in full by March 11 (our next meeting date).  These fees are refundable if you let us know that you can't participate by May 13th, (also a meeting date) but not after that date.  I would stress that planning for the show, on the committee's part, is much easier if you make as sure as you can that you will participate before signing up.

I will be sending out details on sizes and numbers of pieces allowed later (usually 2 each), as well as other pertinent information. Photographic cards and prints can also be sold at the show by exhibitors.

Gwen and I are both planning on exhibiting.  We will be happy to pay the $140 upon our return from Mexico which is mid-April.  That means the first meeting that we can attend is the May 13th meeting.
