Viewsonic 27" monitor

I have a Viewsonic 27" monitor for sale. About two years old, perfect condition, doesn't drink or smoke. Replacement cost about $350, I will sell it for $175, and I will include a Spyder 2 calibration system for Windows XP (but not Win7/Vista/8) or Mac OS 10.6 or higher (but I wouldn't count on it working with Mountain Lion). I also have a 1st-gen Wacom Bamboo tablet, free for anyone who wants to get acquainted with the tablet approach to photo editing. It convinced me: I just bought an Intuos 5.   653-4536

Thanks very much Sam - I can stop by your place next week sometime if that works for you.  I was hoping to go to coffee this week but still not over a cold that I don't want to pass around.  If that doesn't work out will you be going to the next club meeting?

Hi Timmy, VX2739 is the model #. I bought it when I bought the computer in Dec 2010, so it's just over two years old.

Hi Sam,

Just a couple of  questions about the Monitor...

Glossy or matte screen?

Does it have speakers and web cam? 

What is the total horizontal width?

And what have you upgraded to?  :-)

Thanks for your interest. In reply to your questions, in order:

Matte screen

Speakers but no web cam. (The Source has web cams for anywhere from 10 to 60 bucks.)

Total horizontal width is 21-1/2", plus a frame all around slightly less than an inch.

And I have upgraded to a NEC PA271W with a Spectra-View calibration system which is automated for this monitor. 

I'm around all week (except Wednesday) if you want to come by and have a look.

Matte screen - good I have webcam - 23 inches might be a squeeze for the area I have but I would like to try it...are you busy Saturday?
