I prefer the first one myself - I like the proportion of water to sky, gives it a more watery feel... and I like the dark reflection in the foreground a lot :) such a subjective thing, composing

Beautiful Trudy - you seem to be drawn to mists and water ~ nice balance of greys and the boat is in a comfortable place, even if it's in the middle of the image - the other boat provides balance and depth.
