Beware the turkey, harbinger of doom. Eat fish for Thanksgiving instead. Striking. Your use of the poison mushroom was inspired.

But easy on the Amanita...

A good one for upcoming Thanksgiving - turkey, mushrooms and cranberries.

Anna, the reds are those of cranberry juice, Amanita muscaria and turkey wattle. The whites are from floating down (feathers) and yet another kind of mushroom (name unknown). Lighting is from flashlight except for turkey wattle (sunlight).

Love the colours in this one and the way the light shines through his flappy neck bit (I'm sure there's a name for it!). Very textural with feathery grey wispy bits and heavy blobby bits.
