Interesting, Bob, As I stated I printed exactly what I saw and although some might detect an exposure problem - I was using a Sigma Wide Circular Polarizing lens - the sun was a really shimmering shaft on the subjects but I was sill able to capture the yellow tint in the cat's eyes and the soft outline of his ribcage in spite of the stark illumination. I did print the photo and it agrees with my description - and maybe yours too.
