Thanks for the S-100 tip Avril - I tried several times, but Amazon.com will not ship the camera to my address.  This may be because I have an Amazon.ca account.  Rats!

And Chris, if you're interested in the Canon S100 they're on sale new today for $229, at Amazon--a really good price.
