The big brown one was happily basking when this female slipped up beside him.  They shared the dock until some people with cameras (no, not us) scared them off.  Lots of sea lions up there.

I wonder if the brown one is starting to slip backwards as the sleek dark newcomer tips its perch. Great shot.
