Be glad you did!
No enhancement. I did try various things (exposure/ colour/ contrast etc.) but decided I liked the original best. My intent was to capture the wispy mist rising from the water - I'd seen it the day before as I drove in to work but my camera battery was dead. I got this image instead, as is often the case when you have 'a plan' and life says otherwise!
I like the lowering crosshatch.
It's a kilt being laid on top of a runaway fire to put it out. Stunning. Is the colour as was or did you enhance at all? Love the space between the two subjects and the linking of the horizon and that one punctuation mark of a boat in between.
